■Seminar Description:
This seminar is intended for international students who wish to acquire an understanding of crystallography, the principles of X-ray diffraction, and experimental techniques on powder diffraction. Graduate students and researchers are also welcomed.

In the lecture part, students will be introduced to basic crystallography, theory and practice of X-ray diffraction and data analysis. In the laboratory training part, they will learn how to conduct practical powder diffraction experiment. Detailed instruction on sample preparation, data collection and data analysis will be provided.

The seminar will be limited to 20 participants.
